The polymeric conjugate is obtained using a fully water-compatible system without the use of any type of organic solvent, and during the whole process no toxic reaction by-products are created.

This technology allows to obtain fully biocompatible compounds in which the biologically active molecule, bound to a macromolecular system, does not suffer from the well-known problems of instability, migration and blooming often encountered.
