We are proud of the measurable progress we have made in this important area and remain steadfast in our commitment to driving further sustainable sourcing across our operations and supply chain, in partnership with our suppliers.
It’s great to hear that during 2022, Grand Ingredients has been successful in driving improved sustainability performance and minimum standards across the diverse supplier base. In order to achieve the targets for 2026, issuing the global Supplier Code of Conduct (SCOC) to all new and active suppliers seems like a great step to achieve a 100 percent rating. I also believe that assessing 88 percent of suppliers based on their sustainability performance would help in achieving the targets.

In the previous year, we commenced collaborating with our suppliers worldwide to ensure that their products align with sustainable characteristics. We collected data to validate these characteristics and developed a Sustainable & Natural Product Framework that transparently provides information to support each sustainability characteristic at the product level.
