Micellar Cysteamine

Cysteamine is an aminothiol that is synthesized endogenously by the cells of the human body. Its clinical efficacy in the treatment of hyperpigmentation problems has recently been discovered, studies suggest its action in the inhibition of tyrosinase or peroxidase. The active ingredient Micellar Cysteamine has nanoencapsulated cysteamine in particles with an average size between 10 and 50 nm. The encapsulation reduces the unpleasant smell of the active ingredient, improves its stability, in addition to allowing better penetration into the skin, due to the reduced size scale. Other advantages associated with the active ingredient are gradual release, better whitening efficacy and reduction of skin irritation.

Recommended use: External use. Lotions, creams and serums (2 – 10%).
