nVitamin E

nVitamin E contains tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E) encapsulated in lipid nanoparticles. Vitamin E is naturally found in the skin, but exposure to external oxidizing agents (e.g., ultraviolet radiation) significantly reduces the levels of vitamin E in the skin. Therefore, the topical application of this vitamin has been shown to be extremely beneficial for protecting the skin against oxidative damage caused by everyday external agents. Vitamin E acts by protecting the skin against effects induced by solar radiation, reducing the occurrence of erythema, edema, burns, lipid peroxidation, gene mutation, collagen damage, immunosuppression, and even skin cancers. Reduced skin sensitivity is also achieved with the use of vitamin E after sun exposure. Therefore, the combination of vitamin E with sunscreens and post-sun formulations enhances product effectiveness.

Usage recommendations: External veterinary use. Shampoo, conditioner, moisturizing lotion, and sunscreen (0.5 – 10%).
