nTocopherol

Topical application of vitamin E is extremely beneficial for protecting the skin against oxidative damage caused by free radicals and everyday external agents. Due to its ability to neutralize free radicals, it acts to protect the skin against various harmful effects induced by solar radiation. Topical application of vitamin E increases the concentration of free tocopherol in the skin, providing protection against sunburn. Nanoencapsulation allows for the easy dispersion of lipophilic actives like tocopheryl acetate (oily vitamin E) in aqueous media, enabling the development of formulas with a pleasant and non-greasy sensory experience. Additionally, lipid nanoparticles form an occlusive layer on the skin, preventing transepidermal water loss and assisting in maintaining skin hydration.

Usage recommendations: External use. Shampoos, conditioners, lotions, creams, and sunscreens (0.5 – 10%).
